I am a figurative artist who for many years focused on painted portraiture, but have  more recently produced work in the form of 2D collages and sometimes 3D assemblages. These pieces are either direct commissions relating to a specific person, or made in a more abstract style to suggest a different narrative.

Carefully composed, they include vintage graphic ephemera and other found materials (when not working, I can usually be found in a charity shop or at a flea market), as well as painted surfaces rescued from many years demonstrating techniques as a Secondary Head of Art teacher in Jersey. Drawing on many of my cultural passions, the results are lively, eclectic and colourful.
