Therapeutic Arts 1:1 Sessions
Having a qualification in therapeutic arts from the Institute of Arts in Therapy and Education, Dawn can also offer therapeutic art sessions to aid mindfulness and relaxation, benefiting positive mental health. Following neuroarts research into how the arts and aesthetic experiences measurably change the body, brain, and behaviour, Dawn translates this into specific practices that enhance health and wellbeing.
Support Portfolios GCSE & A Level Art
Having gained outstanding results with students consistently in the top 5% of the UK, Dawn has a wealth of experience to support students to gain high grades and meet deadlines for coursework portfolios and examination preparation. She can also support homeschooled students to develop their creative talents.
A portfolio preparation service for Art College interviews is also available.
Charitable Connections
The Colour Rooms are delighted to support the following charities:
The National Trust for Jersey
The mixed media pieces of Jersey’s sea birds were produced to highlight the Birds on the Edge campaign at The National Trust for Jersey.
5% of all sales of the puffin print go to The National Trust for Jersey to support the protection of Jersey’s puffins.
Dementia Jersey
The Forget me Knot painting was donated to Dementia Jersey for their new offices.
Cards can be purchased with this beautiful flower painting with 5% of all sales donated to Dementia Jersey.
The Jersey Heart Support Group
In memory of loved ones no longer with us we raise money for the Jersey Heart Support Group. On the theme of hearts, February will see an art auction with donated artworks raising money for this important local charity, with no commission taken by The Colour Rooms or the artists.
Exhibition of The Month
Each month, we shine a spotlight on a featured artist, celebrating their unique talent and creative vision.
Join us this March for the first of many artist exhibitions, showcasing the extraordinary work of the gifted painter, Robert Allen.
